Swallow Union Awarded Best Buy Te@ch Award!

Swallow Union was recently awarded a Best Buy Te@ch Award.  This award is presented to schools that currently use technology, but wish to improve technology integration with newer technology.  We were able to purchase 5 ipods and 2 recording accessories with the grant.  Students and staff will use the ipods to listen to educational and professional development podcasts.  Students and teachers can use the ipod recording accessories to capture digital voice recordings.  Uses for these recordings include field trip reflection, capturing classroom discussions and student learning reflection.  These recording can then be published into podcasts of their own!
