Peer Leaders
Peer Leaders are high school students whose mission is to make a positive difference in the community and school by serving as positive role models. The goals of peer leaders are to speak out and provide education concerning the dangers of substance abuse, to be leaders and to provide service to the school and community.
Peer Leaders are 10 - 12th graders who sign a pledge to abstain from all harmful substances. Students go through an application process that includes teacher recommendations, essay writing, and interviews. Selection is made by a committee consisting of faculty and other peer leaders.
