National Honor Society

The object of the National Honor Society shall be to promote academic excellence, to foster leadership, to develop character in all students, and to provide and stimulate a desire for service in our school as well as in the community.  GDRHS Juniors and Seniors who have an unweighted GPA of 90.00 and above are eligible to apply.  There is a lengthy application process as well as obtaining letters of recommendation, write a personal essay, all of which are reviewed by the NHS Faculty Council who then vote a membership acceptance.
