Steve Kleeman, Athletic Trainer

Mr. Kleeman comes to Groton Dunstable after working at Billerica High School and Dracut High School as an athletic trainer. Steve serves dual roles as a teacher at GDRHS and as the athletic trainer.  Steve graduated from University of Illinois and earned his masters from Northern Illinois University.  Steve also brings his experience from Rivier College where he taught undergraduate courses in the athletic training major.  He has over 15 years experience working with high school athletes as an athletic trainer and several years experience as a high school teacher.   

Mr. Kleeman recommends two websites for your review; The National Athletic Trainers Association the governing body for Athletic Training, and The American College of Sports Medicine, a non-profit group that provides scientific research in all aspects of exercise and fitness.

All Groton Dunstable athletes at any level are eligible to meet with the trainer.

Any injury during GDRHS athletics should be reported to the athletic trainer. The trainer is available after school and during all home athletic events.  The athletic training room and office is located in the rear of the gymnasium by the locker rooms. Phone: 978-448-6362 ext. 1345
